WRC in Monte Carlo: Neuville hält Ogier auf Abstand
Beim Lauf der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft (WRC) in Monte Carlo führt Thierry Neuville das Feld nach den Etappen am Freitag weiterhin an.

Der Belgier hat einen komfortablen Vorsprung auf den M-Sport-Piloten Sebastien Ogier. Dem Franzosen, der die Wertungsprüfungen (WP) 7 und 8 gewann, fehlen zurzeit rund 45 Sekunden auf die Spitze.
Er überholte aber immerhin seinen Teamkollegen Ott Tänak, der nur 0,3 Sekunden hinter dem aktuellen WRC-Champion auf Platz 3 liegt.
Toyota-Pilot Jari-Matti Latvala liegt trotz eines Drehers nach WP8 auf Platz 4. Dem Estländer fehlen 2:09,7 Minuten auf den Führenden.

Dani Sordo musste zwischenzeitig seinen 5. Platz an Craig Breen abgeben. Der Ire kam in seinem Citroen DS3 jedoch in WP 8 vom Kurs ab und rutsche wieder auf Position 6 zurück.
